Take time with the family to explore the world of the owl at the Blue Hills Trailside Museum on Saturday, Jan. 26 from 7-9 p.m. This program is geared for children ages 6 and up and their families. Participants are led by knowledgeable guides so that they may discover some of the unique ways that owls survive in the wild. Meet some of the museum’s owl residents and go on a night hike to practice owl calls that are taught beforehand. Participants need to dress warmly and wear appropriate foot gear suitable for trail walking and the weather. The cost per person is $8 (Mass Audubon Members,), $10 for non-members. In the event of the weather being too fowl for man or avian, the date for this program is Saturday, February 2.
